Natalia María Pacheco-Tallaj
I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at MIT graduating in May 2026. Before that, I was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Copenhagen until 2021. In Fall 2026, I will be a President's Fellow at UC Berkeley working with Constantin Teleman.
I'm interested in the interplay between algebraic topology, (derived) algebraic geometry, and problems in quantum matter and supersymmetric field theory. I am also interested in applied geometry, specifically to problems in computer graphics and physics simulation. I was a Research Scientist Intern at the Adobe 3D Graphics and Interactive Design Lab in the summers 2024 and 2025.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, making unnecessarily elaborate spreadsheets, Zen meditation, and cooking vegetarian meals. I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
